I am a queer musicologist, composer and musician from the New Forest, currently studying at the University of Oxford. My research interests include:
- folk horror (aesthetics) in music
- audiovisual stuff
- acid folk
- immersion, virtuality, and persona in music
I am also interested in folk/horror film and film music.
My compositional work ranges from avant-garde electroacoustic collages to singer-songwriter folk to classic pop. I have produced audiovisual work and have composed music for short films. Composition practice often takes on a role in my musicological research.
